We bought Felicity a play saucer, which she is still way to little for, but she loves it already. Her legs are just so short! She has three or four inches to go before she can touch the bottom so we put a pillow under there for her feet to rest on. She inherits her awesomely short stature from her Great-Grandma Sund, so she's in good company.
Felicity tends not to talk when I pull out the camera, so I took this video in secret.
She still won't roll over from her back to her belly, although she clearly could if she wanted to.
On a political note, we are so excited about President Obama's announcement because it is just one more step toward a more egalitarian society for Felicity. By the time Felicity is an adult she will surely have the right to marry anyone she wants. We talked about it though and decided that we wouldn't approve of her marrying an Android, although a Cyborg would be okay since they are still part human. But then realized this commits us to the view that it would be better for her to marry a Borg than Data, which is ridiculous. My stance on android marriage is evolving.
Felicity has been eating like a champ. She has liked every food we've offered her. Her favorite so far has been mango mixed with sweet potato. She also really liked avocado. She is already eating foods I didn't even try until college!
Jeff just called to me from the other room to say that Felicity rolled over from her back to her belly! One more skill ticked off the list.
